On January 21st, 5th grade students with 97% attendance (2 days or less absent) or better and no referrals in Quarter 2, were blessed with a grand, catered luncheon and gift bags by Chef Tamesha Hamilton-Spivey. Students entered the transformed cafeteria to see tablecloths, silverware and color coordinated place settings, donated by our Reading Coach Latisha Fuller-Mustafa. The Fifth-grade students were served ribs, mashed potatoes with gravy, pulled chicken, and corn. Students were also treated to make their own sundae ice cream bar. Chef Tamesha was a former student of C. A. Moore Elementary and wants to give back to our students. She wants our students to know the endless possibilities of where they can go in their future. Thank you, Chef, for blessing our students with this amazing meal!
