Celebrating a Trailblazer at Mosaic Digital Academy K-12

We are beyond proud to celebrate Chloe Newman, a standout senior from the Class of 2025, for an incredible milestone! Chloe has successfully passed the Florida Teacher Certification Examination (FTCE)—a major professional achievement typically pursued after college.
As part of the Introduction to Teaching Profession Career and Technical Education (CTE) Pathway at Mosaic Digital Academy, Chloe didn’t just follow the path—she paved a new one. She is officially the first high school student at Mosaic to take and pass this rigorous exam, marking a huge step forward in her journey to becoming an educator. Chloe’s dedication, hard work, and passion for teaching are truly inspiring. She has set the bar high and opened the door for future students in the program. Oh, and yes, she signed the Superintendent’s “A Promise is a Promise Pledge”, so one day, she’ll be teaching here in St. Lucie!
Let’s all give a huge round of applause to Chloe for this groundbreaking accomplishment and for leading the way with excellence and determination!
St. Lucie Public Schools recognizes the value that our graduates add when they return to teach the next generation of students within St. Lucie Public Schools. The pledge reads, “We promise to hire declared students upon graduation from college who meet certification eligibility requirements.” Learn more about “A Promise is a Promise” and let your counselor know your intentions.
