Students in the TCHS Criminal Justice Academy recently had the privilege of hosting Mr. Steven Couzens from the Public Defender’s Office in Saint Lucie County. Engaged and eager to learn, the students explored various professional opportunities within the Criminal Justice system and came prepared with insightful questions for Mr. Couzens. Ms. De Leon’s class read an article about Creative Growth in Oakland, California. Creative Growth is an art center for people with disabilities. Creative Growth gives people with disabilities an opportunity to create, socialize, and display their work in the community. Treasure Coast High School ROTC cadets visited the Navy SEAL Museum, where they had the opportunity to explore the history and mission of the United States Navy SEALs. Thirteen Folds of Glory holds high significance to our armed forces. This tradition requires the U.S. American Flag to be lowered and systematically folded into a tight triangle. TCHS ROTC Cadets explained that this triangle shape is symbolic of honorable values such as liberty and sacrifice. TCHS has made history as the FIRST all-female robotics team in the St. Lucie School District and the Florida FUN League. A huge congratulations to our incredible TITANIDES members, who, alongside our TITAN men’s team, proudly represented TCHS at the Game Reveal event this past Saturday, September 7th at American Heritage High School in Delray Beach.
