37th Annual St. Lucie County STEM Fair

On February 7th, 2025, 120 talented students from St. Lucie Public Schools, spanning grades 6-12, showcased their skills at the 37th Annual St. Lucie County Regional STEM Fair held at Indian River State College. These exceptional young minds engaged in insightful interviews with esteemed judges from our community throughout the morning. A MOOOOvelous Day of Genetics Thanks to the Dairy Council of Florida and the St. Lucie Education Foundation

On Saturday, October 19th, 2024, twenty biology teachers from St. Lucie Public Schools engaged in an exceptional professional development session, generously hosted by the Dairy Council of Florida. During this session, educators were trained in the use of a gel electrophoresis machine, a vital tool in genetic studies. This training was contextualized within the dairy farming industry and was complemented by an enlightening tour of a self-sufficient dairy farm in Okeechobee! We had nine amazing St. Lucie Public School students compete in the 69th Annual Florida State Science and Engineering Fair in Lakeland, FL from 4/2/24-4/4/24. 36th Annual St. Lucie County Regional STEM Fair and Award Ceremony

On February 16th, 2024, 180 students competed in the 36th annual St. Lucie County Regional STEM fair at Indian River State College. These grade 6-12 students represented 21 schools in St. Lucie County. The competition was split into two divisions, junior and senior, with 13 categories in each division. Students were interviewed by community judges from organizations such as IRSC, USDA, City of Port St. Lucie, UF/IFAS and many more.
