Bayshore students have been working hard this year to earn their S.P.O.T.S. They had the opportunity to dress up in their favorite character costume and of course they were shining bright.

Our 5th graders started and completed a Hamburger War. They used a Hamburger War template to put their writing skills to the test. The 3 class periods on Mrs. Enoch’s side battled the 3 class periods on Mrs. Pank’s side. They created an essay as a class based on unique prompts assigned to each class period. As a class they planned, wrote, color-coded, and revised their essay. Students followed Top Score writing guidelines to ensure that they had written an exceptional expository non-text-based essay.
