Army Gives Treasure Coast High School JROTC Experience

On November 9th, the Army recruiters from St. Lucie County brought an armed transport and a flight simulator to Treasure Coast High School. They let our JROTC cadets and some onlooking fellow students fly a helicopter on the simulator and explore the armed car in the front seat, passenger seat, back seat, and the gun mount. They explained each part of the truck and opened their eyes to some experiences they may get from joining the Army. They had a pull-up bar to test our strength and handouts to explain further all the opportunities you may get from the Army. This involvement for our cadets introduced them to a different branch of the military and showed them the circumstances in which make it possible to achieve.
