St. Lucie Public School Educators presented at the D.I.Y. (Digital Inspiration by YOU) Virtual Conference. ┬áHundreds of educators attended virtual sessions on Saturday morning to enhance their Ed-Tech skills. Dr. Stephanee Stephens, Modern Workplace Sr. Specialist for Microsoft U.S. Education, kicked off the Keynote presentation reminding us to find the joy in teaching by “orienting our attitudes and actions toward what’s possible” as we navigate new hybrid learning environments.

Presenters shared fantastic tips on ways to implement ed tech applications such as Canva, Nearpod, One Note, Microsoft Translator, Savvas, Canvas, Bookings and more in classrooms from SLPS Educators. Chief Operating Officer, Terence O’Leary, conducted a session on Cybersecurity which shared best practices in privacy along with understanding our role in cybersecurity as a technology consumer.

Thank you to all attendees, moderators, and presenters. The Office of Teaching and Learning is looking forward to connecting at our next #EdTech conference in Spring 2022!
