On September 25, 2026, the Jaguar Battalion took a trip to the Coast Guard Station in Fort Pierce from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
During this trip, cadets who attended had the opportunity to learn about Coast Guard missions, including search and rescue, maritime law enforcement, boating safety, environmental protection, and homeland security. The Battalion received a tour of the station, which gave cadets the opportunity to ask questions and learn new things. As well as getting a tour of the station, cadets were shown different Coast Guard career opportunities that they provide. Active-duty personnel spoke with many cadets about the benefits, training requirements, and officer programs that would be provided to them if they decide to join the Coast Guard in their future, in which cadets got to ask questions they may have had and gain insight into the life of a Coast Guard member.
This trip provided cadets with a firsthand look at how Coast Guard members work in their daily lives while having fun, demonstrating leadership and teamwork.
