Fairlawn Elementary’s 2nd–5th grade students recently enjoyed an exciting and well-deserved celebration during the final ACALETICS Green Party of the school year. Students who earned an 80% or higher in ACALETICS were rewarded for their hard work and dedication with a fun-filled event on the green that included games, snacks, music, and time to celebrate with friends.
The event also recognized students who showed perseverance by improving their performance and turning their red questions to green. These students received a special treat for their determination and commitment to growth. It was wonderful to see so many students being recognized for their effort, progress, and positive attitude toward learning.
Fairlawn Elementary will continue encouraging students to work toward turning red questions to green as part of the school’s commitment to academic success. Families are also encouraged to continue supporting students by practicing ACALETICS math skills at home. This extra practice will help students feel confident and prepared for the upcoming FAST Math Assessment during the week of May 11.
We are incredibly proud of our students and all they have accomplished this year!
