Bayshore Elementary partnered with the Morningside Library for a wonderful Library Night that brought our school community together for an evening of learning, creativity, and fun. Families enjoyed hands-on craft stations where students designed their own photo frames and colorful bookmarks. Many students were excited to sign up for new library cards and explore the wide range of resources offered through the St. Lucie County Library system.
During the event, librarians led guided tours of the building, giving students and parents an inside look at all the services available to support reading and learning. Two engaging story times kept younger students entertained, while a library-wide scavenger hunt encouraged exploration and teamwork.
Students also had the opportunity to sign up for the Beanstack app to track their reading minutes and books read. Those who participated were entered to win fun prizes, adding even more excitement to the night.
