Fort Pierce Central High School proudly hosted its annual Student-Led Conferences for ninth and tenth-grade students, welcoming more than 1,200 families to campus. The evening highlighted student responsibility and ownership, as students confidently guided conversations about their academic progress, goals, and growth while families actively participated in the learning process.

The event ran smoothly thanks to thoughtful planning and strong collaboration. Leadership Techniques and History teachers were consistently visible throughout the classrooms and hallways, providing guidance and ensuring seamless transitions. Faculty and staff also stepped in to support students whose parents were unable to attend, ensuring every student felt encouraged, represented, and supported. Clear communication leading up to the event contributed to the impressive turnout and high level of engagement. The welcoming atmosphere was further enhanced by the Culinary Arts program, which did an exceptional job preparing and serving dinner for families.

Sincere appreciation goes to the Leadership Techniques and History teachers for leading the initiative, Chef Strell, Chef Swertfager, and Culinary Arts students for their outstanding service, NHS students for their support, and all faculty and staff who contributed. This event was a true reflection of collaboration, commitment, and Cobra pride.
