On Thursday, October 30th, TCHS participated in the Sunshine Kitchen Cook Off. Our talented students, Madison Adames and IRSC student Jade Febus, had the incredible opportunity to compete under the expert mentorship of Chef Kristin Fink. They went up against four other high schools in the district, showcasing their culinary skills and creativity in a series of themed dishes, including a unique take on grilled cheese, a rendition of macaroni and cheese, and a dish utilizing pork tenderloin.
Although we did not place first, the experience was truly memorable and offered significant opportunities for growth. The feedback from the judges was invaluable, providing Madison and Jade with insights that will surely help them refine their craft even further. It was a fantastic event that highlighted the dedication and talent of our students and the supportive guidance of our mentors.
We are incredibly proud of our dedicated teachers and students who continuously strive for excellence. Their commitment to honing their skills and pushing boundaries truly reflects the spirit of TCHS.
