On Saturday, April 12, 2025, several of Ms. Bosque’s fifth-grade students participated in the Elementary Science Showcase at the St. Lucie Public Schools District Office. Completing a science project deepens students’ understanding of a scientific investigation, and it requires them to apply scientific inquiry, a multifaceted activity. The processes of science inquiry include formulating investigable questions, constructing investigations, collecting appropriate data, evaluating the meaning of that data, and communicating the results. When students use their critical thinking skills and apply the scientific process, this enables them to analyze information and draw conclusions. Our students worked hard on their projects, and they enjoyed sharing their results during the SLPS Elementary Science Showcase. Overall, it was an event that ignited young minds and celebrated their scientific endeavors. GO LEOPARDS!
