Lindsey Perez joined the Allapattah Flats family last school year and has made it her home. You never know what you will find when you enter the doors of Mrs. Perez’s science class. Hands-on, minds-on learning is always taking place as students engage in lessons designed to get them excited about science and all its wonders. At the end of the period, students never want to leave; Mrs. Perez ignites a desire in students to want to learn more. Girls and boys alike engage in competitive discoveries such as using a pumpkin to determine which is more powerful — fire or ice. She is a dynamic teacher who is always challenging her students and making science fun! Allapattah Flats is fortunate to have Lindsey Perez, and her students would definitely agree!
