Wilke and Luckey Honored for School Leadership

Congratulations to Principal Traci Wilke and Assistant Principal Marcy Luckey!

Both are outstanding administrators recognized for their strong leadership. Traci Wilke, who proudly serves as the principal of Lawnwood Elementary, was greeted by Superintendent E. Wayne Gent, Dr. Kevin G. Perry, and Lydia Martin to hear the news that she will represent St. Lucie County as this year’s Principal of the Year.  Marci Luckey was greeted by the team and her Executive Director Dan Frank at St. Lucie Elementary.  She was thrilled to find out that she will represent the District as the Assistant Principal of the Year.

The Principal Achievement Award for Outstanding Leadership was established in 1988 to recognize Florida principals for their contributions to their schools and communities. The Outstanding Assistant Principal Achievement Award was established in 1997 to honor assistant principals that have utilized teamwork and leadership to increase student achievement and greatly improved school environments.
