Treasure Coast High cadets help in community clean up

Treasure Coast High School (TCHS) Air Force ROTC students prepare to embark on another Street Cleaning Mission to keep St. Lucie Beautiful. Beginning in 2008, each month approximately 12 students pick up trash from Port St. Lucie Blvd to Tulip along Darwin, for one mile through the “Adopt-A-Road” program. Under the leadership of Lt Col. Cavallaro and SMSgt. Simmons, these students’ service usually equate to over 200 hours of voluntarism annually. The TCHS Community is very proud of its commitment to service as well as the mission to create well rounded citizens who provide leadership and service to their community.
