The Jaguar Battalions First Honor Guard of the year

On Friday, August 18th, 2023, the Port St. Lucie High School JROTC Jaguar Battalion conducted their first Football Honor Guard parking detail. They had a total of 85 Cadets who volunteered to direct cars for parking at the Honor Guard. First-year JROTC Cadets had the opportunity to work alongside their leaders and learn how a parking detail works. Leadership placed Cadets in positions to help guide cars and to ensure that all cadets were safe and had an enjoyable time. Our Cadets presented the Colors before the game, Cadet Command Sergeant Major Eathan Clayton was the National Flag Bearer, Cadet Sergeant Sherkeysia Johnson was the State Flag Bearer, Cadet Staff Sergeant Ryan Lewis was the Left Guard and Cadet Sergeant Jacquline Garcia was the Right Guard. Overall, the event ran smoothly as the Color Guard looked great and the new cadets had the opportunity to experience an Honor Guard.
