Treasure Coast High School, AFJROTC Unit FL-20081 conducted several events in celebration and remembrance of our fallen military members on Veterans Day. With two Color Guards being performed consecutively in addition to the Veterans Day Ceremony held at Veteran Memorial Park, many cadets dedicated their time to honoring veterans. Furthermore, all events were attended by a plethora of veterans from every military branch, with every cadet earnestly learning about the unique experiences each veteran had to tell. A few of our most physically fit cadets participated in a 4-mile ruck march in support and recognition of the issues of PTSD among the veteran community, with each delivering a backpack full of canned foods to support veterans in need at the conclusion of their march.
