The top prize in the Group Website category went to Dan McCarty students, Tiferne Jean, Jr., Jesus Hurtado, and Hakeem Jean-Baptiste for their excellent interpretation of George Washington’s “Leadership and Legacy,” hence, this year’s National History Day (NHD) theme. NHD makes history come alive for students by engaging them in the discovery of the historical, cultural, and social experiences of the past.
