STAR Awards are special recognitions for employees who demonstrate outstanding service above and beyond expectations. At the January School Board Meeting, the District was honored to recognize Mr. Stephen Malpass, a member of the maintenance team.
According to administrators and staff at Lakewood Park Elementary, Mr. Malpass is always a tremendous help and is never seen without a smile on his face. His positive attitude and willingness to do whatever he can, whenever he can, make him a valuable asset to their school and certainly to the St. Lucie Public Schools District. Even though he is a member of the District’s maintenance team, they feel like he is a part of their Lakewood Park Falcon family.
