St. Lucie West Centennial High School’s Law Academy recently welcomed local attorneys to campus for a special career-focused experience with our students. Students had the opportunity to hear about the journey to law school, learn about different areas of legal practice, and gain insight into the critical role legal assistants play within the profession.
We are so thankful for community professionals who are willing to step into our classrooms, share their experiences, answer questions, and help students see the possibilities available to them after high school. A special thank you to Angela F. Baumgarten and our visiting legal professionals for creating an authentic learning opportunity for our Eagles.
Experiences like these are what career education is all about: connecting classroom learning with real-world opportunities and inspiring students to dream big about their futures!
