Today, the St. Lucie West Centennial High School Culinary Arts Academy had the incredible opportunity to welcome Mr. Doug Poole, an accomplished hospitality industry professional and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience!
From working in restaurants to owning his own DJ business and valet company, Mr. Poole brought an incredible wealth of knowledge, real-world experience, and inspiring stories to our students. As a highly sought-after consultant, he demonstrated that the hospitality industry offers endless opportunities for those willing to work hard, think creatively, and take charge of their future.
Our students had the opportunity to ask questions, hear firsthand stories from his diverse career, and discover that hospitality is about so much more than becoming a chef. It’s about entrepreneurship, leadership, customer service, business ownership, building relationships, and creating your own path to success!
One of the most valuable lessons our students can learn is that their future doesn’t have to follow just one path. With passion, determination, and an entrepreneurial mindset, they can turn their skills and interests into careers, businesses, and opportunities they create for themselves.
A HUGE thank-you to Mr. Doug Poole for taking the time to visit our Culinary Arts Academy, share his experiences, and inspire the next generation of hospitality professionals! We always love having him visit our campus, and his presentations remind our students to dream BIG, think beyond the kitchen, and recognize the endless possibilities ahead of them.
Thank you, Mr. Poole, for investing in our students and helping them see what their futures could become!
