St. Lucie Public Schools is featured in the March, 2012, edition of the national education publication District Administration as an example of effective educational reform. St. Lucie is recognized for its adoption of the framework of educational researcher Robert Marzano in establishing a teacher evaluation system that provides more specific guidance on successful elements of instruction, as well as the professional development for teachers and administrators in the observation process.
