St. Lucie Public Schools Announces Summer Meal Sites

St. Lucie Public Schools Child Nutrition Services Department will continue to serve free meals at the following school sites to children in St. Lucie County from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 9, 2020 – July 31, 2020. The multi-day meal packages include breakfast and lunch. On Tuesdays, the meal packages contain 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches. On Thursdays, the meal package contains 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches.

In addition to the school sites, SLPS Child Nutrition Services will also be providing meals at the following locations in the community from June 8 – July 31.

Sabal Chase Apartments, 100 Corner Drive, Fort Pierce, Fl 34947 (Monday-Friday, 11:00 A.M. – 11:45 A.M.)

Sands of St. Lucie Apartments, 2750 US HWY 1, Fort Pierce, Fl 34982 (Monday-Friday, 12:15 P.M. – 1:00 P.M.)

St. James Christian Academy, 6501 NW Saint James Dr, Port St. Lucie, Fl 34983 (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.)

 

Staff will be on-site to distribute breakfasts and lunches, which will be bagged and ready for pick up. Parents and guardians can drive, bike, or walk to these locations. Children do not have to be present to receive a meal, but parents must provide one of the following forms of identification for children who are not present at a serving site:

  • School ID (any school – MCSD-operated school, charter or private)
  • Birth certificate/passport/religious record
  • Library Card
  • Progress Report/Report Card
  • Daycare record
