Southport Middle School student heads to state for essay contest

Southport Middle School student Hannah Spurr heads to state competition in the local DAR American History Essay Contest and the Good Citizen Award contest sponsored by the Cora Stickney Harper branch of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.  A celebratory tea was held at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall in Ft. Pierce.
