Students at Southport Middle School celebrated World Kindness Day all week long. The National Junior Honor Society started each day with kindness quotes on the morning news show. They passed around kindness bracelets that included random acts of kindness. They also handed out kind cheerful notes to teachers and students throughout the week. To help celebrate World Kindness Day, students in Mrs. Dudash’s class painted rocks from the Smokey Mountains for fellow students to find and enjoy.
Southport students believe that there is nothing better than getting random kind messages and the simple act of finding rocks make people smile and inspires them to pass on the kindness! Underneath each rock students will find the message SPM ROCKS to represent Southport Middle. Special helpers included: Ms.Soto, Ms. Bailey, Mrs.Mee-Joy, and Ms. Neil.
