St. Lucie West Centennial High School welcomed the Class of 2030 with excitement, energy, and Eagle Pride during its highly successful Freshman Orientation, Eagle Launch 2026.
Under the outstanding leadership of Ms. Mack and the dedicated Flight Crew Team, more than 600 incoming freshmen and their family members participated in this year’s orientation. To accommodate the large turnout and provide flexibility for families, three sessions were offered throughout the day at 1:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m.
From the moment families arrived on campus, the spirit of Centennial was on full display. The Eagle Regiment Marching Band, Fall Cheerleaders, and JROTC Cadets proudly welcomed guests and showcased the traditions, excellence, and school pride that define the Eagle experience.
Each session began with an interactive game of Bingo, creating an engaging and welcoming atmosphere as families competed for prizes and connected with staff and student leaders. Participants then attended informational presentations designed to help students successfully transition into high school. Topics included academic planning and graduation requirements, school-wide discipline expectations, student involvement opportunities, and resources to support student success.
Orientation activities extended beyond the auditorium, as families participated in informational workshops and guided campus tours, allowing incoming freshmen to become familiar with key locations and navigate the campus with confidence before the first day of school.
The event also featured the Eagle Pride Store, where families enthusiastically purchased school spirit merchandise to show their Centennial pride. Nearby food trucks offered a variety of nutritious meal options, adding to the family-friendly atmosphere and making the day an enjoyable experience for all.
The success of Eagle Launch 2026 was made possible through the collective efforts of countless staff members, student leaders, volunteers, and community supporters who generously contributed their time and talents. Their commitment to creating a welcoming environment ensured that every new Eagle and family felt connected, informed, and prepared for the journey ahead.
