SLWC Criminal Justice Students Visit SLC Courthouse

On January 30th, SLWC Criminal Justice students had the unique opportunity to visit the SLC Courthouse in Fort Pierce. This educational field trip provided students with a firsthand look at the workings of the judicial system. During their visit, they engaged in an insightful Q&A session with Clerk & Comptroller Michelle Miller, Judge Jeff Hendriks, and various law enforcement staff. The students asked thoughtful questions and gained valuable insights into the roles and responsibilities of these key figures in the legal system. This experience enhanced their understanding of criminal justice and also inspired many to consider careers in the field. The visit was a memorable and enriching experience for all involved.
