Brandon Cabrera, Tienshi Chow, Paige Hager, and Gleidi Mercedes Picado were celebrated at City Hall for their creative and impactful posters, where they displayed the importance of water conservation. These students reflect the dedication of SLW Centennial to environmental stewardship.
During the meeting, the students were recognized for their achievements and received gift cards and other exciting prizes. Their artwork will be featured on the city’s social media handles and website and displayed at a city facility. Additionally, these talented students will have the opportunity to participate in the FSAWWA statewide Drop Savers poster contest, where they can earn additional recognition for their efforts in promoting water conservation.
SLW Centennial High School is proud of our students’ dedication to fostering a culture of conservation within our community. Their achievements demonstrate the importance of educating and empowering young people to take an active role in preserving our natural resources.
