The SLW Centennial NAVY JROTC “Black Talon” Company had a field trip to visit the Kennedy Space Center on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023. Cadets visited various attractions, including the United States Astronaut Hall of Fame, the Apollo/Saturn 5 Center, and of course the Gift Shop.
Cadets learned the importance of America’s “Race to the Moon” as well as had fun virtually flying the Space Shuttle. They look forward to visiting again next year!
