The SLW Centennial High School NAVY JROTC participated in Southern Oaks Middle School’s Discovery Day on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2023.
The SLW Centennial Cadets that participated (pictured above from left to right) were Cadet Petty Officer First Class Alesha Alexandre, Cadet Lieutenant Junior Grade Jade Sikorski, Cadet Lieutenant Commander Aidan Rossell, Cadet Chief Petty Officer Justin Lotak, and Cadet Senior Chief Petty Officer Daniel Sharpe.
The cadets introduced the middle school students to basic drill, armed exhibition drill, and physical fitness exercises as well as answered questions about what it’s like to be a part of the Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC). Hopefully we’ll see some new cadets enrolling in the SLW Centennial’s Navy ROTC program next school year.
