The SLW Centennial Navy JROTC Competition Team competed in the Area 7 Florida State Drill Championships this past weekend, March 5th, 2022 at Winter Park High School in Winter Park Florida.
They competed against the best 19 Navy JROTC Units throughout the state of FL.
Congratulations to the Color Guard Drill Competition Team! They placed 4th in the State and brought home a fourth-place trophy from States! The team consisted of Cadet Senior Chief Petty Officer Nicholas Linarducci (Right Rifleman), Color Guard Commander Cadet Lieutenant Aidan Rossell (Ensign Flagman), Cadet Ensign Nikolas Ramirez (Navy Flagman), and Cadet Lieutenant Commander Gregory Vetrano (Left Rifleman) .
Also, congratulations to Cadet Sabrina Fortney for coming in third place in Individual Female Push-ups and earning a medal!
Notably, the entire Competition Drill Team came in 6th place in Personnel Inspection, as well as coming in 6th place in Team Push-ups.
Great job by all the Drill Competition Team cadets! They did an amazing job representing the SLW Centennial High School’s Black Talon NJROTC Company!
