Two Cadets from the SLW Centennial Navy JROTC unit from SLW Centennial High School participated in Southeast Florida’s Honor Flight Program. The Honor Flight program’s mission is to fly local World War One, World War Two, Korean War, and Vietnam War Veterans to Washington DC, to visit the memorials built to honor their service and sacrifice.
The Cadets that had the privileged to participate were Cadet Petty Officer First Class Zachary Columbia and Cadet Petty Officer Third Class Jeremy Sanchez. The honor flight took place on Saturday, September 16th, 2023.
