On Saturday, March 2, 2019, the Port St Lucie High School Army JROTC Jaguar Battalion’s Drill Team competed in its AREA 3 Regional Drill Meet at Jupiter High School. This is the most important drill meet of the season because it determines if the team can advance to the state competition. Cadets participated in fourteen group events, and we are so proud to say the Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion won 1st place overall and will be moving forward to compete at the state level on April 13th! The teams proceeding on to the state competition are Male Armed Squad, Male Unarmed Squad, Male Unarmed Platoon, Female Unarmed Platoon, Male Platoon Exhibition, Male Squad Exhibition, Female Platoon Exhibition, Female Squad Exhibition, an Exhibition Solo performed by Cadet Corporal Alex Nangle, and a Duel Exhibition performed by Cadet Captain Alexis Morris and Cadet 1st Lieutenant Lawrence Moleon Mathews.
