PSLHS Jaguars Prepare Future Southport Cadets

On Monday and Tuesday, November 6th –7th, selected cadets from the Port St. Lucie High School Army JROTC Jaguar Battalion’s Raider Team went to Southport Middle School. Sixteen Cadets: Cadet Major Gabriela Gomez, Cadet Captain Nalani Vialva, Cadet sergeant Debbie Jean, Cadet Lieutenant Michael Coccaro, Cadet Sergeant Karol Albarran , Cadet Major Joshua Locklar, Cadet Seargent Sariely Yanez, Cadet Seargent Rebecca Guison, Command Seargent Major Isaac Mendez, Cadet Second Lieutenant Eathan Clayton, Cadet First Seargent Zion Kennedy, Cadet Captain Jeremiah Davis, Cadet Captain Miley Gittin, Cadet Second Lieutenant Jacob Bunker, Cadet First Lieutenant Ryan Lewis, and Cadet Captain Jayda Whiteman. The Cadets conducted a stretching circle and participated in various activities: Tug-of-war, Skies, The box, and Minefield.  To conclude the physical training, cadets gathered the students and talked about fun facts about the PSLHS JROTC program. Ultimately, the cadets enjoyed going out and teaching potential future PSLHS cadets about the program, and so did the Southport students.
