PSLHS Army JROTC Attend Competition

On Saturday February 16, 2019, Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion’s Marksmanship Team attended a competition held at Jupiter High School. The Jaguar Battalion’s “sharpshooters” competed against nine other Army JROTC programs in the area. Cadet Captain Simmons shot an outstanding 207 out of 300 points, scoring the highest out of our nine cadets.  Our Marksmanship Team  includes: Cadet Sergeant First Class Cook, Cadet Captain Simmons, Cadet Corporal Moad, Cadet Corporal Lewiston, Cadet Private Arrabe, Cadet Private O’Hare, Cadet Private Svoboda, and Cadet Private Funez. This meet is meant to prepare the cadets for the Regional AREA 3 Marksmanship Competition coming up on April 6, 2019. The level of which our cadets preformed at this meet shows that they are more than ready for the regional competition!
