On Saturday, September 29, 2018, the Port St. Lucie High School Army JROTC Jaguar Battalion Color Guard presented the nation’s colors at the 7th annual Wounded Warrior Surf Day.
Leading the parade along with St. Lucie County Fire Rescue Bag Pipes and Drums, the Color Guard proudly marched wounded warriors and their families to the beach. PSLHS’s Color Guard included Cadet Captain Brianna Harris as National Flag Bearer, Cadet Sergeant First Class Lawrence Moleon-Mathews as the State Flag Bearer, Cadet Second Lieutenant Justin Locklar, and Cadet Sergeant Alexis Morris as Guards.
Jaguar Cadets appreciated the opportunity to support the event, and look forward to continuing their aid of the Wounded Warrior Project. Cadets interacted with veterans and learned new surfing skills.
