Port Saint Lucie High JROTC Remembers Our Missing Americans

The annual POW/MIA ceremony was hosted by Chapter 556 of the Vietnam Veterans of America at Veterans Memorial Park. Cadets from Port Saint Lucie High School showed their support and paid their respects to our missing and captured veterans. This ceremony is to show our appreciation to the people that defended our country and to recognize that they have not returned home. Present at the ceremony was a table set for one. This table is our way of symbolizing the fact that members of our profession of arms are missing from our midst. The cadets formed an “Honor Cordon” at the entrance and aligned to the memorial. The cadets were proud to have participated in the remembrance ceremony, which was appreciated by all those who attended.
