Performance Based Preparatory Academy has created a student-led newspaper. The PBPA Press released its first issue this past October and the students are scheduled to release one issue per quarter. All articles and topics are student-generated. October’s articles ranged from school updates, Hispanic Heritage Month, human trafficking, for or against masks, dealing with anxiety, and being a teen parent. A huge shout out to PBPA Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Josie May for guiding our students as their Faculty Sponsor. For many of our students, this is the first time they have ever been a part of a school organization or club.
