On Wednesday, April 23rd, the teachers and staff of SLW Centennial High School gathered in front of the school to welcome students into the testing season with a Tunnel of Hope. The St. Lucie West Centennial High School Tennis Team wrapped the 2025 season with a celebratory banquet that honored their hard work, dedication, and impressive achievements on the court. This year both male and female athletes achieved winning records, demonstrating their strength and talent on the court. The Eagles soared through the regular season with determination and teamwork. SLW Centennial Teacher Recognized by College Board Advanced Placement Program

Congratulations Pamela Kaiser. Mrs. Kaiser has been recognized by the College Board’s Advanced Placement Program for her contributions as an AP reader. In June 2014, 607 high school AP English Literature teachers joined forces with college faculty who teach in the same discipline to score 399,220 exams in Louisville, KY. Ms. Kaiser has been recognized for her hard work, her dedication, and her expertise. This was her fifth year participating as an AP Reader. Thank you Ms. Kaiser for your dedication to our students.

At St. Lucie West Centennial High School, a group of Outboard Marine students recently earned industry certifications in engines, electronics, and electronic systems. These certifications mark a significant achievement, officially recognizing the students as certified technicians ready to enter the workforce. Students at SLW Centennial High School were recently rewarded with a sweet treat for their outstanding performance on the Algebra and Geometry End-of-Course (EOC) exams. Those who scored a level 3, 4, or 5 were invited to enjoy an ice cream incentive, which was provided by their class sponsors. SLW Centennial Students Caught Having Fun In History Class

Students in Mr. Swalwell’s World History class are currently preparing for their first vocabulary test, which focuses on key terms related to the Byzantine Empire and Arab Civilizations. To help reinforce their understanding, students worked collaboratively in small groups, actively matching vocabulary words with their correct definitions. This interactive approach encouraged discussion and peer learning. SLW Centennial Students Assemble Grace Packs

SLW Centennial High School students have been making a significant impact in their community by assembling food packs for their hungry peers through Grace Packs Inc. This initiative has seen remarkable growth over the seasons, with thousands of Grace Packs being put together for children across the district. The students’ journey began with assembling around one hundred Grace Packs on their first day in the pantry. Their efficiency and teamwork have since increased significantly, helping to serve the nine hundred fifty-five students who rely on these packs each weekend.
