On Target: Cobra BN to Launch Marksmanship Team at Fort Pierce Central High School

The Fort Pierce Central High School Army JROTC Cobra Battalion is proud to announce the startup of its Marksmanship Team, giving cadets a new opportunity to build discipline, focus, and confidence through structured, safety‑focused training. The marksmanship program will emphasize responsibility, precision, self‑control, and teamwork—core Army values that support both personal growth and leadership development. Cadets will compete in a controlled, supervised environment while learning proper safety procedures and sportsmanship. This exciting new team was made possible through the generous support of an NRA Grant, which provided the essential equipment and resources needed to launch the program. The Cobra Battalion extends its sincere thanks for this support, which has helped expand educational and extracurricular opportunities for Fort Pierce Central cadets. With the addition of marksmanship, the Cobra Battalion continues its mission of developing student leaders and offering diverse programs that prepare cadets for success in school, service, and life.
