Students enrolled in one of the Nursing Assistant programs within St. Lucie Public Schools were at Keiser University (Tradition Campus) for a full day of simulated learning. All participating students were given a tour of the campus, worked with college professors and nursing students, gained knowledge on the application process, along with financial aid and scholarship opportunities. The highlight for all participating students was working side-by-side for simulated clinical level training on advanced medical equipment. Students completed hands-on learning and demonstrations in various programs including Psychology, Dietetics & Nutrition, Exercise Science, Sports Management, Respiratory Therapy, Nursing, Medical Assisting, and Biomedical Science.
