Music In Our Schools Month is the National Association for Music Education’s annual celebration.  Music educators, students, and communities engage in promoting the benefits of high quality music education programs in St. Lucie Public Schools.

The theme for this year is “Music Connects Us.” Music is often called a ‘universal language.’ Every culture has developed their own system of music and the art has proven to be important in nearly every aspect of society. Learning how to interact with this ubiquitous world of music is of vital importance to all students throughout their entire school career.

St. Lucie Public Schools Annual Music In Our Schools Concert was held at the Fenn Center on April 12, 2018.  The event featured over 500 elementary, middle, and high school band and chorus students from across the district.  It was an evening of pure joy!
