Algebra may not be second nature for all of us. However, at Cobra Nation, our amazing Algebra team lives, breathes, and teaches math as a life skill. Our dynamic Algebra team is composed of Ms. Dowdy, Mr. Badac, Mrs. McDade, Mrs. Mead, Ms. Robinson, and Mr. Rymer who bring math to life in ways that enable, empower, and activate our students’ learning potential. Our administrative team extends a hearty Cobra praise to this hard-working team as they collaboratively plan and use the backward design of planning. The team is focused on the “how” of planning and sharing strategies with each other to support students’ achievement. Recently the team dug deeply in planning on the three different methods of solving equations (graphing, elimination, and substitution).
