Attendees had the chance to look through telescopes, including the Dobsonian telescope, a design influenced by Isaac Newton’s early work. With these powerful lenses, they observed Venus, Jupiter, Mars, and the moon in stunning detail. Principal Brooke Wigginton also joined the excitement, using her phone and the Skyview Nite app to view celestial sites.
