Mariposa Elementary School’s teachers and students celebrated Storybook Character Day with a parade. They showcased their favorite storybooks and dressed as their favorite characters. In the classrooms, students read their stories to each other, and enjoyed some treats. Lauren Rocha dressed up as Little Bo Peep and showed her book proudly. Guidance Counselor- Ms. Baliton, Asst. Principal- Ms. Patton, Math Coach- Ms. Henderson, and Literacy Coach- Ms. Almeida dressed up as their favorite story book character as well. It was a great day for literacy fun (and dressing up) at our school.
