Kindergarten Loves Apples at Mariposa Elementary

Mrs. Kari McIntyre’s Kindergarten class at Mariposa Elementary enjoyed Apple Center Day! The children had a wonderful time using their 5 senses to explore apples. Mrs. McIntyre spent 3-weeks having the students learn about the 5-senses, specifically what, why, and how we use them. Through reading, writing, science, and math, the children were able to explore apples and create apple projects based on their findings. In the picture, Ayva Bonacchi is sharing her apple project with her grandmother, Dorothy Bonacchi. It was a fun day of learning!
