Homecoming Game Honor Guard

On Friday, October 30, 2020, the Port St. Lucie Jaguar Battalion held its first honor guard to help with the Port St. Luce High School’s homecoming game against Martin County High School. Many cadets showed up to help work the honor guard, resulting in the parking detail working to get cars where they needed to be smoothly and proficiently. The cadet who was in charge of managing the honor guard was Cadet Major Justin Bennett. Presenting the colors was our color guard commanded by Cadet Major Alexis Wilson, accompanied by Cadet Sergeant First Class Mery Fuentes as state flag bearer, Cadet Second Lieutenant Catherine Cabellero as right guard, and Cadet Captain Addison Searcy as left guard. Our battalion also provided the school with a saber guard to honor our school’s homecoming king and queen candidates. The cadets on the saber guard presenting the homecoming court were Cadet Major Alexis Wilson, Cadet Sergeant First Class Mery Fuentes, Cadet Second Lieutenant Catherine Cabellero, Cadet Captain Addison Searcy, Cadet Captain Elijah Hylton, and Cadet Captain Noah Cook. The winners of the homecoming court were our very own Battalion Commander, Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Lawrence Moleon-Mathews crowned as king, and Cadet First Lieutenant Alexis Bannon crowned as queen.
