The Fort Pierce Central High School Wind Ensemble recently achieved a remarkable milestone, earning a Superior rating at the 2025 State Music Performance Assessment held on Friday, May 2nd. This is the first time our school has received this honor since 2015.
Under the direction of Mr. Stephen Gabin and assistant director Ms. Cory Cas, the Wind Ensemble showcased months of dedication, teamwork, and musical excellence. Their performance not only highlighted their technical skill but also reflected their passion and pride in representing Fort Pierce Central and St. Lucie County.
This accomplishment was made possible through the support of our incredible band community. We extend sincere thanks to Dr. John Southall (IRSC), Jason Hatfield, Jean Auguste, Nick Eggen, Dennis Jackson, Dean Dimitroff, and the devoted parents who helped make this journey possible. A heartfelt congratulations goes out to our senior band members, whose leadership and commitment have left a lasting legacy within our program. We are incredibly proud of our students and grateful for the continued support of the FPC community. Congratulations to all involved in this outstanding achievement!
