At FPC, time spent by friends, colleagues, and Cobra family members was time well spent by enjoying yummy Cobra Cookies, fresh coffee and tea, and free books! The Fort Pierce Central High School Sunshine Committee, led by Mrs. Kelly, put on their first ever book swap. At this free event held in the media center, FPC staff were invited to bring a book and take a book. Fun catch-up conversations, light laughter, browsing, and casual comparisons of which book to take-home made the event a great experience for all attendees. Many books found new homes to be enjoyed page-by-page with new readers. Thanks to all who participated and Mrs. Avra for championing the program.
